The warm weather, that is.
Where I live in Vermont, it has crawled into the 70s and 80s already. Yesterday, I got my first sunburn! Has nature forgotten that it’s only MARCH? Yikes.
Today, though, I’m prepared: I donned my compression garments, put on a pair of linen pants, and a light top. I’m a little nervous about how I’ll feel after a couple of days of this heat, because the stockings make my legs even hotter and more uncomfortable – it’s sort of a vicious cycle, isn’t it? – but my health has to come before comfort. (At least that’s what I keep telling myself.)
Last year in Vermont, we got snow in May, so here’s to hoping there’s a few more days of chilly weather before summer stays for good..!
Has it begun warming up where you live? What are you doing to beat the heat?
Here in the Chicago area we have already had record highs for March….It has been in the upper 70′s the last 5+ days! I’ve been staying in during the day and will put off errands until later.
Ugh how awful! Staying inside is my favorite thing right now, haha. Air conditioning and a nice glass of water and I’m all set!
Same here in London… it’s still “only” in the 60′s but that’s already enough reason to start putting me in a bad mood and looking for appropriate work clothing for this summer :-S Have looked all over town for linen pants – any recommendations where you got yours? Even if they’re US shops, most do international delivery so let me know :)

I search for palazzo pants or wide legged pants on pretty much any retail website.. I like Urban Outfitters and Forever21, but I think any site will have them if you know where to look!
I’m currently looking for summer shoes.. that’s a challenge in itself :p
You’re so right! I recently bought a pair of birkenstocks and seychelles that are quite comfy.
